The main door can only be opened with the key. Always take the key with you!
Did you lock yourself out anyway? Spare key is only available at café ‘
O Tanoeiro
‘ in Cardal (1.2km).
Tables and chairs may be brought to the patio for outdoor dining.
Do you wish to eat on the mobile terrace? Please place a carpet (found in the common area behind the entrance) on the Deck under table and chairs.
All shutters are electrically operated. Use the switches with the arrows next to the respective window.
The pool is located under the mobile terrace. Use of the pool is at your own responsibility. If the pool is open, you are responsible for the children present (if you are not outside, close the pool!).
Opening: The padlock key is located in the bottom slide under the oven. Do not let anyone stand on the Deck during opening.

Tables and chairs may be brought to the patio (including the mobile patio) for outdoor dining.
Relax seats and cushions for the sun beds can be found in the storage room (room behind the entrance hall).
Please put the tables and chairs back inside when it rains (and at the end of your stay).
Manuals for built-in appliances can be found in the kitchen cabinets.
The oven: The oven is both hot air and microwave.
Press the microwave symbol to turn it on.
When used as a microwave oven, the rack and baking sheet MUST be replaced with the glass plate. Remember to remove the glass plate from the oven when you subsequently wish to use it as a hot air oven.
Garbage is not collected in Portugal.
On the street are large green containers for residual waste. At the end of the street (toward the river) are containers for PMD (all plastic, metal can and drinking cardboard): yellow, paper & cardboard: blue and green: glass.
As stated in the rental terms, an amount will be deducted from the refund of the deposit if the cleaning service needs to take away trash.
All rooms have separate air conditioning/heating.
Use the remote controls to set the desired function/temperature.
Let’s keep it as sustainable as possible!
Note: If it’s 40°C outside, there’s no point setting the air conditioners to 16°C. The only result is that they freeze outside and stop working.
The best efficiency is achieved with 25°C for cooling and 21°C for heating.
Of course, keep doors and windows closed as much as possible when using air conditioning/heating.
Outside normal consumption of energy will be deducted when the advance payment is refunded.
